SOTT: People Get Ready There's a False Flag Coming

Yes folks, it's that time again. If I was talking about the holiday season we'd be thinking about pumpkins and turkeys and holiday lights; Christmas shopping, school pageants and "chestnuts roasting on an open fire". But I'm not talking about the holiday season. I'm talking about the next terror attack. It won't be sugar plums dancing but the new booga booga bin laden dancing by way of Iran. It's time for 'Go west, young terrorist, go west.'

You've seen dozens of reports like this one appearing all over the official, mass-terror media. These reports are appearing for several reasons. One is to let you know that we know the "terrorists" are coming. We also need to let you know that even though we know they're coming we won't be able to stop them; the actual reason being that the actual terrorists are employed by the U.S. government. Another reason is simple confusion as exemplified in the motto of one of the chief terror players, "by way of deception, thou shalt do war." It's a given that deception is greatly aided by confusion. Think how helpful it was for war games to have been in progress during 9/11 that were simulating exactly what was happening.

We're seeing the strange 'put options' which are always a good indicator that both fan and shit are being readied back stage. We've got suspicious looking Middle Eastern men appearing in Seattle and flocks of geese walking over America's grave in The Bay Area,...enough with the links. We got links and you can get links too if your ipod dies or for some inexplicable reason you decide to pay attention to what's going on around you.

By this time most of us know that if it isn't the American neo-cons along with Israeli and British intelligence orchestrating the majority of all terror, domestic and abroad; including within Iraq, then its either aliens from outer space or those mysterious, inner earth dwellers, whose access ports to their underground realms are located at the poles.

Maybe the use of a little logic might help right about now. Who benefits from a major terror attack? Who has benefited from 9/11? Would Iran benefit from the coming terror attack that is going to be blamed on them? Hmmm... let's see. They become the beneficiary of a horrific bombing attack from a collective American, British and Israeli joint operation. Yeah, I guess they're really looking forward to that. Yeah, if I were an Iranian that would be at the top of my list of things to do; let's blow up something in America so that we can be pulverized into rubble.

How did the Afghani "al-Qaeda" do following 9/11? They made out like bandits right? Let's see, a bunch of guys, who couldn't fly small planes very well, got together and hi-jacked four big airliners and did some synchronized aerial ballet that would try the abilities of an expert and then they won the Power-ball Lottery or... or...

American neo-cons got a mandate to wreak havoc upon every area of American life while looting the treasury and maintaining power over the landscape; war profiteers in London, in the center of world banking, made fortunes and Israel was able to turn world opinion against the Muslim, Arab world; turn public attention away from their apartheid and genocide practiced on The Palestinians and give free reign to unrestrained hegemony, not to mention attack Lebanon.

I know what my common sense tells me but then, I have common sense.

Yes people, it's time to get ready. It's time to stock up on duct tape, plastic sheeting, staple guns and staples, bottled water, dehydrated foodstuffs and lots of guns and ammo.

So where and when is it going to happen? Well, I'm not a psychic but I think we can speculate with some accuracy. It probably won't be NYC; been there done that. It won't be somewhere like Oklahoma because American conservatives are already on board. The best place, from a tactical perspective is a heavy-weight liberal area. These are the clowns that are always complaining about Katrina and the war and other annoying things. Plus, they deserve it and double plus - scaring the liberal community will throw support to the fascists by sweeping in the fence sitters and ratcheting up the fear.

My best guess is in the area from San Francisco heading north. But... that could be a red herring. Now watch closely, at no point does the hand leave the wrist. Of course, LA is also a perfect spot. It would make sense to put public attention to the north while attacking the south. What's the latest Vegas line on Chicago? These are just mind games though and will only make you crazy.

When is it going to happen? The best guesstimates put it from early September to some time in March. It really depends on a combination of economic indicators, opportunity, who is where when and the usual concerns; remember, there's no point in a major terror attack if you can't make a financial killing too.

How totally devoid of conscience are these people? How cosmically arrogant are they? You only have to read this in order to measure both.

There is always the possibility that they will get caught in the act. People with the sort of gigantic hubris that they possess often make gigantic mistakes. Their present mindset is that it doesn't matter what we think or do because they are in charge and they can spin it any way they like afterwards. As you can see from the last link, a lot of the time they don't bother to spin at all. As one of their members said a few years ago, more or less, "We are an empire. We control and shape reality. It is whatever we say it is."

So... here we are. You can hear the drums and the bugles. You see the new patriotic commercials with the mothers of the dead soldiers and the disabled survivors. We've got Bin Laden and the mysterious "al Qaeda" with a franchise outlet around the corner from every Starbucks on Earth and seemingly thousands of members with unlimited funding and terror think tanks and dirty bombs. We've got unusual and anonymous stock market action. We got unknown Middle Eastern guys doing Jack in the Box routines along the west coast. We've got drama, people. The same folks who brought you 9/11 are ready to bring you the next segment in the series. So get the popcorn in the microwave, make sure there's enough beer in the fridge, call Dominos, call your friends and then sit back in the Barcalounger and get the remote handy.

This is a multimedia experience. The same people doing it will be reporting it... and analyzing it... and protecting and not protecting you all at the same time. Why, even now, Bush's speech writers are probably preparing his address. Bush himself may well be in the mirror striking poses and listening to an audio-book version of great speeches by Marc Anthony, Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt with a bullhorn in his hand and a roll of socks in his crotch. Whatever it's going to be, it's certainly going to be pay-per-view. It's gonna cost. And whatever happens, in this case, it won't be true that you have "nothing to fear but fear itself". The fear and the fact, the problems, reactions and solutions are all going to be coming from the same place.

FOX Attacks: Iran

I remember very clearly the daily fearmongering led by FOX as they cheered for war with Iraq. The 24/7 images, sound effects, yelling and threatening were an ever-present drumbeat for war. We had to invade, and we had to invade now.. anyone who didn't see that was a traitor. They viciously attacked those of us who worked to get out the truth.

You'd think that with the complete failure in Iraq, those days would be behind us. Sadly, you'd be wrong.

FOX wants war with Iran.

It's almost too ridiculous to believe, but it's shockingly real. We've already compiled over 4 hours of FOX footage... the same images, sound effects, yelling and threatening that led the U.S. to invade Iraq is happening right now to sell a war with Iran. They are saying the exact same things!!

Here is the video evidence, side-by-side with what they said about Iraq.

This time is different though. We're prepared, and we have the means to alert people to what FOX is doing. Everyone has seen the terrible tragedy and the awful price paid by so many Iraqis and Americans. We know this is coming, and we can stop it.

It was about this time in the lead-up to the Iraq war when the other TV networks started following FOX's lead. As CNN's Christiane Amanpour says in the video, they were intimidated by FOX into cheerleading for the Iraq war.

WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN.

This is a critical moment, and we must send a message to the major television networks urging them to ask tough questions, be skeptical, and tell us what is really happening. They must not follow FOX down the road to another war.

In Search Of The Miraculous(zijn wij vergeten wie wij waren?)

Ik ben momenteel bezig met het lezen van twee boeken, The Fire From Within van Carlos Castaneda en In Search Of The Miraculous geschreven door P.D. Ouspensky en wow ik ben momenteel bij hoofdstuk 3 van miraculous en ik moet zeggen dat als jij ooit je avroeg, wat het doel in je leven is, waarom je hier bent, waarom de mens zo ''robotisch'' is, zoals werk werk school thuis werk werk herhaal procces tot je dood bent, waar het om draait, als jij voelt dat er meer bestaat dan de illusie die we nu zien als jij voelt dat er iets is wat niet klopt aan mensheid en zijn geschiedenis dan moet je hier mee beginnen, de boek is zo mooi en perfect opgebouwd dat ik het niet kan beschrijven, ik heb nog nooit een boek met zo een duidelijkheid gelezen.

Nu is het natuurlijk wel zo dat ik al bekend was met de ideen van G.I Gurdjieff die Ouspensky in zijn boek beschrijft, dus is het mischien daardoor dat ik het veel beter begrijp, je zult het leven echt in een ander licht zien dan wat je nu om je heen ziet, maar ja sommige mensen zijn er niet klaar voor, realiteit boeit voor hun niet, wat boeit is een fantasie droom waar ze in leven tot ze vergeten worden en als een droom uit het verleden zullen ze worden herinnerd, kritisch nadenken bestaat niet meer voor hun, en hoeveel bewijs ze je ook toont, dan nog zullen ze het niet geloven, want de fantasie(illusie) wereld waar ze mee opgegroeid zijn is hun realiteit geworden.

"People are so unlike one another," I said. "I do not think it would be possible to

bring them all under the same heading. There are savages, there are mechanized

people, there are intellectual people, there are geniuses."

"Quite right," said G., "people are very unlike one another, but the real difference

between people you do not know and cannot see. The difference of which you speak

simply does not exist. This must be understood. All the people you see, all the people

you know, all the people you may get to know, are machines, actual machines working

solely under the power of external influences, as you yourself said. Machines they are

born and machines they die. How do savages and intellectuals come into this? Even

now, at this very moment, while we are talking, several millions of machines are

trying to annihilate one another. What is the difference between them? Where are the

savages and where are the intellectuals? They are all alike . . .

"But there is a possibility of ceasing to be a machine. It is of this we must think and

not about the different kinds of machines that exist. Of course there are different

machines; a motorcar is a machine, a gramophone is a machine, and a gun is a

machine. But what of it? It is the same thing—they are all machines."

In connection with this conversation I remember another.

"What is your opinion of modem psychology?" I once asked G. with the intention

of introducing the subject of psychoanalysis which I had mistrusted from the time

when it had first appeared. But G. did not let me get as far as that.

"Before speaking of psychology we must be clear to whom it refers and to whom it

does not refer," he said. "Psychology refers to people, to men, to human beings. What

psychology" (he emphasized the word) "can there be in relation to machines?

Mechanics, not psychology, is necessary for the study of machines. That is why we

begin with mechanics. It is a very long way yet to psychology."

"Can one stop being a machine?" I asked.

"Ah! That is the question," said G. "If you had asked such questions more often we

might, perhaps, have got somewhere in our talks. It is possible to stop being a

machine, but for that it is necessary first of all to know the machine. A machine, a real

machine, does not know itself and cannot know itself. When a machine knows itself it

is then no longer a machine, at least, not such a machine as it was before. It already

begins to be responsible for its actions."

"This means, according to you, that a man is not responsible for his actions?" I

asked.

"A man" (he emphasized this word) "is responsible. A machine is not responsible."

In the course of one of our talks I asked G.:

"What, in your opinion, is the best preparation for the study of your method? For

instance, is it useful to study what is called 'occult' or 'mystical' literature?"

In saying this I had in mind more particularly the "Tarot" and the literature on the

"Tarot."

"Yes," said G. "A great deal can be found by reading. For instance, take yourself:

you might already know a great deal if you knew how to read. I mean that, if you

understood everything you have read in your life, you would already know what you

are looking for now. If you understood everything you have written in your own book,

what is it called?"—he made something altogether impossible out of the words

"Tertium Organum"—"I should come and bow down to you and beg you to teach me.

But you do not understand either what you read or what you write. You do not even

understand what the word 'understand' means. Yet understanding is essential, and

reading can be useful only if you understand what you read. But, of course, no book

can give real preparation. So it is impossible to say which is better. What a man

knows well" (he emphasized the word "well")—"that is his preparation. If a man

knows how to make coffee well or how to make boots well, then it is already possible

to talk to him. The trouble is that nobody knows anything well. Everything is known

just anyhow, superficially."

This was another of those unexpected turns which G. gave to his explanations. G.'s

words, in addition to their ordinary meaning, undoubtedly contained another,

altogether different, meaning. I had already begun to realize that, in order to arrive at

this hidden meaning in G.'s words, one had to begin with their usual and simple

meaning. G.'s words were always significant in their ordinary sense, although this was

not the whole of their significance. The wider or deeper significance remained hidden

for a long time.

There is another talk which has remained in my memory.

I asked G. what a man had to do to assimilate this teaching.

"What to do?" asked G. as though surprised. "It is impossible to do anything. A

man must first of all understand certain things. He has thousands of false ideas and

false conceptions, chiefly about himself, and he must get rid of some of them before

beginning to acquire anything new. Otherwise the new will be built on a wrong

foundation and the result will be worse than before."

"How can one get rid of false ideas?" I asked. "We depend on the forms of our

perception. False ideas are produced by the forms of our perception."

G. shook his head.

"Again you speak of something different,"' he said. "You speak of errors arising

from perceptions but I am not speaking of these. Within the limits of given perceptions

man can err more or err less. As I have said before, man's chief delusion is his

conviction that he can do. All people think that they can do, all people want to do, and

the first question all people ask is what they are to do. But actually nobody does

anything and nobody can do anything. This is the first thing that must be understood.

Everything happens. All that befalls a man, all that is done by him, all that comes from

him—all this happens. And it happens in exactly the same way as rain falls as a result

of a change in the temperature in the higher regions of the atmosphere or the

surrounding clouds, as snow melts under the rays of the sun, as dust rises with the

wind.

"Man is a machine. All his deeds, actions, words, thoughts, feelings, convictions,

opinions, and habits are the results of external influences, external impressions. Out of

himself a man cannot produce a single thought, a single action. Everything he says,

does, thinks, feels—all this happens. Man cannot discover anything, invent anything.

It all happens.

"To establish this fact for oneself, to understand it, to be convinced of its truth,

means getting rid of a thousand illusions about man, about his being creative and

consciously organizing his own life, and so on. There is nothing of this kind.

Everything happens—popular movements, wars, revolutions, changes of government,

all this happens. And it happens in exactly the same way as everything happens in the

life of individual man. Man is born, lives, dies, builds houses, writes books, not as he

wants to, but as it happens. Everything happens. Man does not love, hate, desire—all

this happens.

"But no one will ever believe you if you tell him he can do nothing. This is the most

offensive and the most unpleasant thing you can tell people. It is particularly

unpleasant and offensive because it is the truth, and nobody wants to know the truth.

"When you understand this it will be easier for us to talk. But it is one thing to

understand with the mind and another thing to feel it with one's "whole mass,' to be

really convinced that it is so and never forget it.

"With this question of doing" (G. emphasized the word), "yet another thing is

connected. It always seems to people that others invariably do things wrongly, not in

the way they should be done. Everybody always thinks he could do it better. They do

not understand, and do not want to understand, that what is being done, and

particularly what has already been done in one way, cannot be, and could not have

been, done in another way. Have you noticed how everyone now is talking about the

war? Everyone has his own plan, his own theory. Everyone finds that nothing is being

done in the way it ought to be done. Actually everything is being done in the only way

it can be done. If one thing could be dif-

ferent everything could be different. And then perhaps there would have been no war.

"Try to understand what I am saying: everything is dependent on everything else,

everything is connected, nothing is separate. Therefore everything is going in the only

way it can go. If people were different everything would be different. They are what

they are, so everything is as it is."

This was very difficult to swallow.

"Is there nothing, absolutely nothing, that can be done?" I asked.

"Absolutely nothing."

"And can nobody do anything?"

"That is another question. In order to do it is necessary to be. And it is necessary

first to understand what 10 be means. If we continue our talks you will see that we use

a special language and that, in order to talk with us, it is necessary to learn this

language. It is not worth while talking in ordinary language because, in that language,

it is impossible to understand one another. This also, at the moment, seems strange to

you. But it is true. In order to understand it is necessary to learn another language. In

the language which people speak they cannot understand one another. You will see

later on why this is so.

"Then one must learn to speak the truth. This also appears strange to you. You do

not realize that one has to learn to speak the truth. It seems to you that it is enough to

wish or to decide to do so. And I tell you that people comparatively rarely tell a

deliberate lie. In most cases they think they speak the truth. And yet they lie all the

time, both when they wish to lie and when they wish to speak the truth. They lie all the

time, both to themselves and to others. Therefore nobody ever understands either

himself or anyone else. Think—could there be such discord, such deep

misunderstanding, and such hatred towards the views and opinions of others, if people

were able to understand one another? But they cannot understand because they cannot

help lying. To speak the truth is the most difficult thing in the world; and one must

study a great deal and for a long time in order to be able to speak the truth. The wish

alone is not enough. To speak the truth one must know what the truth is and what a lie

is, and first of all in oneself. And this nobody wants to know."

Talks with G., and the unexpected turn he gave to every idea, interested me more

and more every day. But I had to go to Petersburg.

I remember my last talk with him.

I had thanked him for the consideration he had given me and for his explanations

which, I already saw, had changed many things for me.

"But all the same, you know, the most important thing is facts," I said. "If I could

see genuine and real facts of a new and unknown character, only they would finally

convince me that I am on the right way."

With this, so far as I remember, the talk ended.

Ondertekend op 4 juli 2005 wordt in deze overeenkomst bepaald wat wel en wat niet verhandeld mag worden als het gaat om voedsel. U zult deze documenten niet even gaan lezen, het zijn namelijk 16 duizend pagina's. In deze lezing geeft Dr. Laibow u een goed overzicht van de consequenties van deze regelgeving die per 31 december 2009 van kracht wordt.

Er is momenteel een echte aanwijzing naar de achtergrond van Codex Alimentarius, en dat is de 40 minuten duren presentatie van Dr. Laibow die je HIER kunt zien , ik moet zeggen dat het wel erg verontrustend is want mocht dit werkelijk gebeuren dan betekent dit het dood van 3 miljard mensen, natuurlijk is moeilijk om zo iets maar te aanvaarden, maar het feit is dat we al vaak genoeg door de regering worden voorgelogen, het zou mij in iedere geval niet verbazen als het daadwerkelijk ook live gaat.

SOTT: First They Came For The Cows - Are The Sheeple Next?

As the smell of burnt cow meat once again wafts across the southern English countryside, the stench is not only casting a pallor across the faces of Surrey farmers, but also threatening to expose the sordid relationship between the UK government, U.S. big business and the little-known world of "bio-terrorism".

The first outbreak of a resurgent foot and mouth disease (FMD) occurred last Friday on a farm in Surry England. A second herd of cattle, less than two miles away tested positive for the foot and mouth disease yesterday, frustrating British farmers who were hoping for a quick end to the crisis and eager to avoid a repeat of the massive slaughter and burning of 6 million animals in 2001.

It has now been established that the outbreak was caused by a strain of the virus which only exists in a government laboratory located three miles away from the first reported case. This particular strain does not occur naturally outside the government-owned "Institute for Animal Health" at Pirbright. The Pirbright facility is shared with a private American pharmaceutical company, Merial Animal Health, which manufactures vaccines for animal diseases such as FMD. The strain has now been conclusively linked to a vaccine that Merial manufactured on 16 July this year.

The UK government's spin doctors are already on the job, with news reports carrying the government Health and Safety Executive suggestions that contaminated water at the Merial laboratory may have been disposed of improperly with the recent flooding in the UK possibly carrying the disease to surrounding farmland, or perhaps the air-filtration system at the lab was not powerful enough to prevent the virus from escaping. In its initial inquiry, the government's Health and Safety Executive said there was a "strong possibility" that the virus came from the Government-licensed Pirbright complex and that it is likely that workers at the site were to blame for spreading the disease. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) last night said it would investigate unconfirmed reports that a worker at one of the Pirbright labs had an allotment near the farm where the outbreak was first detected on Friday.

In a statement today, a Merial spokesman denied responsiblity:

"Over the last three and a half days we have conducted intensive internal investigations and, as a result, continue to have complete confidence in our processes and procedures for health, safety and environmental protection, quality control, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

The microbiology expert Hugh Pennington opined: "My impression is that they haven't found any technical fault and flooding is a potential, but only negligible. What you are left with is human movement."

So as usual, "Mr. nobody" was responsible, or some unnamed humans.

What is most interesting about this outbreak of FMD is that it comes hot on the heels of yet another appearance of the terrifying "bird flu", with 2 swans in France, a few ducks in Germany and 51 chickens in India all succumbing to the disease in recent weeks. Call me conspiratorial if you like, but I've been watching the modus operandi of the powers that be for too long now to take anything of this nature at face value, at least not before I subject it to the smell test. So let me share some finer details with you and you can then decide for yourself.

First, a quick look at Merial:

Merial is a world-leading animal health company. It is a joint venture between Merck & Co. and Sanofi-Aventis, founded in 1997. Merial produces pharmaceutical products and vaccines for livestock, pets and wildlife. Merial employs approximately 5,000 people and operates in more than 150 countries worldwide. Its 2005 sales were in excess of $1.9 billion.

Judy C Lewent (Judy Lewent, Executive Vice President of Merial) is responsible for worldwide financial, corporate development and licensing matters, as well as for strategic planning at Merck. Judy is also responsible for the Johnson & Johnson Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals and Merial (Merck and Sanofi-Aventis) joint venture relationships and the Merck ongoing relationships with Astra and DuPont.

Judy is a member of the Board of Directors of Dell Inc., Motorola, the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a trustee of the Rockefeller Family Trust; a life member of the MIT Corporation; and a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.

Interesting company Ms Lewent keeps. It is also interesting that on July 31st 2007, just a few days before the outbreak of FMD that has been linked to Merial, Ms. Lewent off-loaded 50,000 shares in Merial. Then yesterday, one day before it was revealed that the strain of FMD had come from Merial's lab in Surry, she dumped a further 63,000 shares of common stock. Oh yes, and she is retiring next week. I assume that if Merial ends up on the wrong end of a multi-million dollar farmer's law suit in the coming weeks over the release of FMD in the UK, Merial's shares are going to plummet . So, can we say "insider trading"?

On the one hand it could be suggested that both Merial and the UK government have much to gain from another FMD epidemic across the UK and that they may well have conspired to deliberately release the disease. Merial would stand to receive large sums of money from the sale of millions of doses of the vaccine for FMD that it makes, and the UK government would be provided with another opportunity to run hundreds more small and medium-sized farms out of business and further centralise one of the most important food-producing industries in the UK.

Up until now, the vast majority of farmers in the UK were against the vaccination solution to FMD for a variety of reasons including:

It is difficult to correctly distinguish between the variations of the disease, (especially with government and big business tinkering incessantly with the strains) for example the strain discovered recently in Surrey is different from the form that swept across Britain six years ago

A vaccinated animal cannot be moved for a time because it can still be a carrier of the infection.

Each new generation of animal must be vaccinated

Many farmers, struggling to survive because of government agricultural policies, would be unable to afford the relevant vaccine, but most importantly of all, British beef and milk would have to be labeled as "vaccinated" which would make it more difficult to sell, at least abroad.

With this latest outbreak however, The National Farmers Union, fearful of having to watch another 6 million cattle go up in smoke, are saying that there is perhaps some merit in the vaccination idea, and Merial would of course be very happy about that.

As for the Gordon Brown government, it seems that they are doing everything in their power to help the virus spread far and wide. The owner of the land where the outbreak was first detected yesterday attacked the government for failing to shut footpaths in affected areas and criticised the decision to transport slaughtered infected cattle 80 miles for incineration as "absolutely stupid" and "madness" because it risked spreading the disease beyond the infected farm.

David Denny, a veterinary surgeon from Worcester, said the policy of moving the carcasses across country was a "risk too far". "I'm horrified, it is all because the public must not be seen to witness funeral pyres again. Foot and mouth must be treated as a disease and not subjected to political spin."

Apparently some people are still unaware of the fact that everything the UK government does is "spin", which is just a ubiquitous euphemism for "lies".

There also exists the possibility that UK government would be happy to see another FMD epidemic and UK farmers forced to accept the vaccination of all British cattle, because in this way they could 'vaccinate on the fly' those members of the Great British public who eat beef and drink milk - which is most of them. Why not? It's a brave new world folks, and if the American government could use the threat of "swine flu" in 1976, to force vaccinate 47 million Americans resulting in at least 113 deaths, nearly 4,000 cases of paralysis and an epidemic of Guillean Barre - a polio-like disease (the first outbreak occurred at Fort Dix by the way) but no outbreak of "swine flu", and if the government was able toensure that one of the ingredients in diet soft drinks is the same as the main ingredient in rat poison, then why not a little dead mutated FMD vaccine in your McDonald's burger and milkshake, eh? After all, FMD only "very rarely" affects humans, then again, according to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs the latest outbreak of FMD was a "01 BFS67-like virus", i.e. it was a version of FMD that is not normally found in animals and linked instead to the vaccine that Merial produced by mutating the original 1967 FMD virus, so eh...

Having said all that, it does seem a little unrealistic to think that if Merial were part of some conspiracy to infect British cows with FMD, they would have had the gumption to cover their tracks a little better than choosing their own back yard to release a mutated strain of the virus. So maybe Merial wasn't part of this particular conspiracy, but was instead something of a fall guy, a useful idiot, or rather Merial's shareholders were the useful idiots, while the management like Ms Lewent mentioned above, were smart enough to get a tip of in advance and dump their shares. In this case then, and assuming that someone did deliberately release the mutated FMD strain/vaccine, who dun it?

For the possible answer to that one, we need to look to those stalwart defenders of British society against the Islamic terror hoard from the East - the MOD.

Back in 2002, one year after the first FMD pandemic, a public inquiry into the outbreak revealed evidence that a phial containing the foot-and-mouth virus went missing from the Porton Down research laboratories near Salisbury.

Professor Michael Dower, leading the inquiry, said he was still waiting to hear from the government regarding the matter. He wrote to rural affairs minister Lord Whitty on January 8 with a list of questions which had arisen from information the inquiry had received locally.

Professor Dower asked: "What forewarning did the Ministry of Agriculture (Maff) have of a possible foot-and-mouth outbreak prior to the outbreak in February?

"Several of the written submissions the inquiry received refer to reports of a lost phial of foot-and-mouth virus from Porton Down," he said.

Apparently the good professor never heard back from the Blair government. Yeah, shocking, I know.

The mention of the MOD's secretive Porton Down biological and chemical research laboratories in connection with the release of FMD is ominous indeed and brings us straight into the murky world of alleged "terrorist" attempts to acquire biological and chemical weapons for use against innocent Western civilians and the British and American governments' supposed efforts to thwart such attempts.

The name of the research facility at Porton Down (located a safe 100+ miles from the site of the latest FMD outbreak) has undergone many changes over the years. The words "chemical" and "defence" have been consistently used, giving the impression that...well....that it is used only for research into "defence" against "chemical" weapons. In 1991, however, the UK "Centre for Applied Microbiology and Research" moved to the Porton Down facility and its name was changed to the "Chemical and Biological Defence Establishment", reflecting the addition of biological warfare agent research to the list of "services" that Porton Down offered.

Despite the name change, it is reasonable to assume that, in the current climate of prolific fear mongering over the illusory threat from "Islamic terrorists" a significant portion of the Porton Down facility is dedicated to the much more sinister art of chemical and biological offence. After all, research into defending against a biological or chemical attack requires a knowledge of the agents involved that is equal to if not greater than that of the attacker.

Furthermore, it was at Porton down in the 1950's that at least one unwitting British army serviceman was subjected to chemical agent (Sarin) tests that caused his death, and at least one scientist at the facility who died in 1962 of the plague. This more sinister side to life at Porton Down came to light in 1999 and later in 2001 when an independent medical probe was launched into claims that not only Maddison, but 20,000 other "volunteers" were duped into participating in dangerous tests at Porton Down which resulted in serious side effects and death for many.

The government is launching an independent medical investigation into the health of 20,000 volunteers involved in biological and chemical weapons trials at its Porton Down defence establishment.

Many volunteers exposed to nerve gas and other chemical and biological agents at the laboratories on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire say the tests left them with long-term ill health.

There is compelling evidence that some were given highly dangerous doses.
And some say they were tricked into participating in the tests by being told they would be researching the common cold.

The two-year scientific study will examine the death rates of all volunteers at the chemical and biological warfare research centre since 1939.

And there will be more detailed scrutiny of those exposed to the most dangerous substances.

Several Cornish servicemen were exposed to the deadly nerve gas sarin during experiments between the 1950s and 1980s.

And Wiltshire police investigating their claims have found an unusually high death rate among the volunteers.

The MoD's chemical and biological weapons research centre has tested 3,000 service personnel in human volunteer experiments since 1945.

More than 300 ex-servicemen claim to have suffered disabilities ranging from breathing difficulties to kidney complaints as a result of tests carried out at the centre run by the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (Dera).

The Co-ordinator of the Porton Veterans' Support Group, Ken Earl, said he was "absolutely delighted" by the news of the inquiry.

He told the BBC's Today programme: "There are a lot of very sick people out there and a lot of widows.

"And we are convinced that we are sick because of those experiments we took part in."

The Junior Defence Minister, Dr Lewis Moonie, agreed the tests had been "potentially dangerous" but added that they had been necessary to show what effects nerve gas and nitrogen mustard gas would have on people and whether they could be protected against it. [...]

It was revealed earlier this year that a coroner had applied to hold a fresh inquest into the death of an airman who took part in one of the experiments.

It is claimed that 20-year-old Mr Maddison died 45 minutes after 200mg of the deadly nerve agent sarin was dripped onto a patch of uniform taped to his arm at Porton Down.

The original inquest into his death was held 48 years ago behind closed doors, where a coroner concluded he died of asphyxia.

The coroner's report was never released and the only relative allowed into the inquest was the airman's father, who was sworn to silence under the Official Secrets Act.

It appears that at the time of his death, Maddison's father was told "it's an official secret that we murdered your son, so shut up". Without doubt this attitude from the UK authorities towards a UK citizen is extremely disconcerting. We might tend to think that such a stark infringement of basic human rights would not occur today, if it were not for the equally alarming comments of the UK Junior Defence Minister, Dr. Lewis Moonie, who states:

"The tests had been necessary to show what effects nerve gas and nitrogen mustard gas would have on people and whether they could be protected against it."

If a relative or son of the Junior defence minister had been the subject of the tests, we wonder if he would still be so cavalier about the use of live human subjects for chemical and biological testing.

Porton Down - a sinister air?

A sinister air surrounds the subject of chemical weapons, quite different from the power politics of the nuclear arms race.

And some of the mystery is attached to the name of Porton Down, the secret chemical weapons centre in Wiltshire.

The centre, made up of forbiding buildings in 7,000 acres near Salisbury, was set up in 1916 at the height of WWl.

Patrick Mercer, a retired army officer, spent several weeks there on courses designed to tell soldiers about chemical warfare.

"It was hideous," he said, "a hutted camp, where it seemed to do nothing but rain. There were a series of bunkers to which you were thrust from time to time to be gassed with CS gas and to go through ghastly exercises underground wearing a gas mask."

During WWII Porton Down started researching a new menace - biological weapons, but during the Cold War chemical weapons became the top priority.

For many years, the mere fact that there was a chemical weapon research centre there was secret, but after it was admitted in the late 1960s, it became the most controversial military establishment in the UK.

To test the effectiveness of nerve agents such as Sarin, servicemen were offered about £2 and a pass for three days' precious leave if they voluteered to take part in tests.

Rob Evans, a journalist researching a book into the experiments, said the main reason people volunteered was because they were bored with life at their own military establishments.

"They wanted to get away for any type of break, just anything. As soon as something came up. . .they would step forward, say yes, I'll take that.

"But sadly very few actually knew what Porton Down was, or what they were letting themselves in for."

Allegations

Wiltshire detectives are investigating allegations that in 1953 one serviceman, Ronald Maddison, died after taking part in a Sarin gas experiment. It is claimed that he thought he was taking part in a programme designed to find a cure for the common cold.

But the Maddison death was not the only thing to go wrong at the centre.

Rob Evans said: "The two most embarrassing accidents, and they are more tragic than embarrassing, were the death of Ronald Maddison and also the death of one of their own scientists Geoffrey Bacon in 1962, who died of plague."

Since the end of WWI, 20,000 people have taken part in experiments at Porton Down, and it is thought that there are a further 300 servicemen waiting to begin legal actions against the Ministry of Defence.

The probe into Maddison's death, and the illegal testing of chemical agents on many others was launched in 2001 - but something else of note happened that same year - the "Chemical and Biological Defence Establishment" at Porton Down changed its name to "The Defence Science and Technology Laboratory" - a thinly-veiled attempt to divert attention from the secretive research that is very likely ongoing behind locked doors somewhere in the bowels of the facility formerly know as Porton Down.

Getting back to Merial.

In 2000, Merial forged a marketing alliance with Agrivet Farm Care, part of British multinational Glaxo Smith Kline India. A Glaxo press release said that Agrivet Farm Care will have access to the entire Merial range of products.

Also in 2000 Glaxo Wellcome-SmithKline merged with Beecham to create the world's largest drug company.

In layman's terms, Merial is a big multinational pharmaceutical company that makes vaccines against animal diseases. One of their biggest markets is poultry vaccines, specifically, vaccines against the H5NI strain of bird flu - in birds that is. As with many vaccines, the virus itself is manipulated in some way to make the bird-life-saving vaccine against the virus.

Glaxo - Smith Kline is a big multi-national pharmaceutical company that makes vaccines against human diseases, or "drugs for humans" if you like. One of Glaxo Smith Kline's most important products is a vaccine against the H5NI strain of bird flu - in humans that is.

Coincidentally enough, yesterday the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services ordered 22.5 million more doses of the avian flu vaccine from the international pharmaceutical giant Glaxo Smith Kline.

Of course, we shouldn't forget that in December 2003 Allen Roses, worldwide vice-president of genetics at GlaxoSmithKline stated publicly that fewer than half of Glaxo's drugs have any beneficial effect at all in combating the health problems/diseases for which they have been prescribed/manufactured. Pretty depressing huh? Never mind, take a Paxil and you'll feel much better, maybe.

So the executive VP of Merial hangs out with the Rockefellers, who just happen to have a history of research into eugenics and "population reduction" and mapping the human genome (which opens the door to ethnically specific bioweapons) and micro chipping the entire global population if possible, and the non-executive Chairman of Glaxo-Smith Kline, Sir Christopher Hogg, just happens also to be the non-executive Chairman of Reuters, one of the largest media organisations in the world, and both companies are involved in manipulating deadly strains of viruses allegedly to produce vaccines for animals and humans against those same deadly viruses. Specifically, Merial was involved in mutating a decades-old FMD strain in search of a vaccine but somehow managed to create a mutated strain that got released into the wild, probably by the MOD in order to condition the population to outbreaks of deadly biological agents.

In fact, what I am really waiting for is news that the British government has discovered that the "human movement" that was undoubtedly the cause of this latest release of FMD has been identified as "Islamic human movement" or an "al-Qaeda sympathiser" who had been working at Merial or the adjoining government lab and desired to unleash furious "Jihad" on the cattle population of Britain because he hates the "freedom and democracy" that British people (and their cows) so obviously enjoy. Such a contention would, after all, be no more hilarious than the claim that a Aeronautical engineer with a PHD in design and technology and a medical doctor drove a Jeep full of solid steel gas canisters at the doors of Glasgow airport last month, and then set themselves on fire, apparently unaware, despite their academic qualifications, of the utter uselessness of their plan.

And now, bird flu is back, and there is all of this evidence that the US military has been doing its own research into resurrecting and mutating deadly forms of the flu virus from yester-year (with extremely lax security measures), despite the fact that it has been proven that in the case of the "Spanish flu" outbreak of 1918, it was the vaccine that caused the virus to mutate which transformed the original virus, within the human host, into a deadly strain:

How did they know it was the virus of Spanish flu that killed millions of civilians and soldiers? This disaster occurred when viruses were unknown to medical science. It took a British science team to identify the first virus in man in 1933.

As regards the origin of the outbreak, he relates that a senior U.S. army officer suggested that the Germans might have been responsible for the bug as part of their war effort, by spreading it in theatres or where large numbers of people assembled.

Did they also spread it among their own people, killing 400,000 as reported? Ryle would have us believe that all those American soldiers who died from non-combatant causes may have died from Spanish flu.

But U.S. Army records show that seven men dropped dead after being vaccinated.

A report from U.S. Secretary of War Henry L Stimson not only verified these deaths but also stated that there had been 63 deaths and 28,585 cases of hepatitis as a direct result of yellow fever vaccination during only six months of the war.

And to top it all off, a U.S. pharmaceutical company recently created, and the MOD covertly released, a new mutated form of FMD in the UK which mutated because they were searching for a "vaccine"; and "flu season" is just around the corner.

My advice: if there is a flu, or another other viral pandemic this winter, don't take any government-administered vaccines. There's a good chance that you won't live to regret it.

ViewZone asked me to write a story about the Mayan Calendar. There is a common belief that the calendar holds a prophecy that the end of the world will happen in 2012. At the time, I knew very little about the whole topic and when I began doing the research. I like to think I had an open mind. My investigation began with mainstream archaeology and the expert interpretations of the calendar. But it soon took a turn that made my hair literally stand on end. I am now convinced that these prophecies are true.

To understand what is likely to happen to Earth and it's people, you will need to remain calm and try to follow the facts. It's not as simple as some people describe. It requires an understanding of some fairly complicated scientific realities, but I think I can explain them in a way that you will easily understand.

The Calendar -- A Descrption

First, the Mayan calendar is also sometimes called the Aztec Calendar. This calendar is recorded as a carving on the Aztec "sun stone" currently on exhibit in the National Museum of Anthropology and History located within Chapultepec Park, Mexico City. There's a lot we could say about the carved stone but most of those details are irrelevant to the end times.

In our modern calendar, called the Gregorian Calendar, we have days, weeks, months and years. In the Mayan Calendar it's more complex. In fact, it's really three calendars. First there's a religious calendar that takes 260 days to complete a full religious cycle. There are 20 "weeks" made up of 13 days. Each week has a special name, a graphic logo and unique meaning associated with it. This rather reminds me of the Chinese years which cycle through "the year of the rat" and "the year of the monkey," etc., each with it's special image and meaning.

Next there is the solar calendar. This has 365 days, like our modern calendar. It's divided in 18 months of 20 days each. At the end of the cycle there's five special days considered to be unlucky because they don't belong to any month. Each of the months has a special name, graphic logo and some special significance.

So it is possible, for any specific date, the calculate the religious week and the solar month and to predict the influences that might be guiding fate. But that's not really what's involved with the prophecy of 2012. To understand that we must look at the third calendar, called the "long count."

While the first two cycles could be thought of as cogs or gears, revolving through time, the long count is a linear number of days, starting from the first day, "1," and counting through each day to the present. Any day in history can be recorded using the long count and, with some fancy mathematics, the corresponding religious week and solar month can also be found.

In writing this article, I thought about creating a javascript program that would do this calculation. My friend, Gene Matlock, then told me that when he was in Mexico, he found a place that sold wooden, mechanical calculators with gears that did just that. He said that Mexicans sometimes used these mechanical calendars to foretell the future or to find auspicious times for special events like marriage or births. Anyway, although it might be nice to know the religious and solar significance, it's the long count that foretells Doomsday.

The days of the long count are numbered with an unusual system. Instead of writing numbers as we do, from right to left with each place being a multiple of 10 (i.e. 10000, 1000, 100, 10, 1), the Mayans had only 5 places.

The first place recorded a number from 0 to 20. To the left, the second place could have a range from 0 to 17; the third from 0 to 19; the fourth from 0 to 19 and the last from 0 to 12. The numbers were written from right to left, like our system, separated by a dot. Instead of multiples of 10, the first place had a multiple of 1 (like our system); the second place a multiple of 20; the third a multiple of 360; the fourth a multiple of 7200 and the fifth a multiple of 144000.

So a long count number, for example, could be written as 4.12.5.9.0 and would be calculated as follows:

(4 x 144000) + (12 x 7200) + (5 x 360) + (9 x 20) + (0 x 1) or a long count of 145980.

It's not too difficult to realize that the maximum number which can be recorded this way would be 12.19.19.17.20, although some researchers like to write it as 13.0.0.0.0. This amounts to a long count number of 1,872,000 days or 5125.36 years of our modern calculations. Obviously, the calendar is very old!

Over the years, archaeologists have found carved monuments that recorded the long count for known dates in Mayan history. Once a date was fixed in time, it was easy to determine the "day 1" as August 11th, 3114 BC. And it was also easy to calculate the date at which the calendar would end -- December 21st, 2012.

Trust me, just because the calendar ends doesn't prove that time, or the world, or life will end. We need to look carefully at December 21, 2012 and try to understand why the Mayans never calculated a date beyond this point in time. To do this we must move from Archaeology to the science of Astronomy and Astrophysics.

It's all about the Sun. It's ironic (or maybe not) that the Mayan Calendar is often called the "sun stone." While the calendar does have "solar" days, acknowledging the 365 days it takes for Earth to rotate around the celestial body, it is also true that the Sun plays a key role in the final day of the "long count." To understand what will happen to the Sun on December 21, 2012, we need to review some scientific terms like "ecliptic," "barycenter," and "sunspots." These are important in the discussion that follows. We'll start with the most difficult one first.

Terms we will encounter...

What is the Barycenter?

You've no doubt heard that Earth revolves around the sun. Well, actually, that's not quite true!

Have you heard the term "center of gravity"? It's a technical-sounding term for something pretty simple. It's the exact center of all the material (that is, mass) that makes up the object. For example, if you have a straight stick, like a ruler or yardstick, there's a place at the middle where you can balance it on your finger. That's its center of gravity.

But the center of gravity may or may not be the point that is exactly in the middle, distance-wise, of the object. Some parts of the object may be heavier (denser) than others. If you have something like a sledge hammer that is heavier on one end than the other, the center of gravity will be much closer to the heavy end than the lighter end.

To get an idea of where the center of gravity is, rest the ends of any object like the ruler or a pencil on one finger from each hand. Slowly move your fingers together without dropping the object. Your fingers will meet underneath the object's center of gravity. You can balance the object on one finger at that special place.

The actual center of gravity could be close to the surface or deep inside, depending on whether the object is flat like a ruler or a dinner plate, or "three-dimensional," like a box or a ball. And if you let the object spin (like when you throw it), it will try to spin about that point.

In the case of the Earth and the sun, both bodies actually revolve, or spin, around the very center of the mass (similar to center of gravity) between them. This point is called the "barycenter." Earth and the sun are "connected" by the gravity pulling them together. It's just like the light end and heavy end of the sledge hammer. Compared to the size of the sun, Earth is about like a flea on a cat! So the center of mass between the Earth and the sun is almost--but not quite--the very center of the sun.

In the case of a planet the size of Jupiter, which is 318 times as massive as Earth, the barycenter of Jupiter and the sun is a bit further from the sun's center. So, as Jupiter revolves around the sun, the sun itself is actually revolving around this slightly off-center point, located just outside its center. Thus, a planet the size of Jupiter will make the sun (or any star) appear to wobble a tiny bit. This picture shows you that the center of mass and barycenter can be slightly different points. It isn't meant to be very accurate!

We can take advantage of this bit of knowledge and look for large planets in other solar systems by learning to detect this type of tiny wobble in the star's position.

For now, let's forget all the small planets and focus on Jupiter. It makes one complete trip around the Sun every 11.861773 years. There's a new theory put forth by Dr. Rollin Gillespie which shows that Jupiter, and to a smaller degree the other less massive planets, may trigger the 11 year cycle of sunspots and solar flares.

The barycenter is not a single point in the Sun. Because the Sun is a rotating gaseous sphere, the barycenter forms a vertical, cylindrical "sleeve" that is partially inside and outside the main solar body. All of the planets have such a "sleeve," one inside the other, depending on their relative mass and the location of their barycenters. The particular sleeve representing the mass of Jupiter intersects the solar surface at 35.9 degrees North and South. This is precisely where sunspot and flare activity begin and end during each 11 year cycle.

Scientists have noted that when Jupiter and Saturn are aligned, on the same side of the Sun, the solar activity is at its maximum; when they are on opposite sides of the Sun the solar activity is at its minimum.

These cylinders are usually quite orderly because the planets adhere to a narrow plane, called the ecliptic which resembles a thin plate extending from the equator of the Sun. The planets hang out here because (in simple terms) this is the zone where the gravitation of the system is the strongest. (see below)

But nature is never perfect. The Sun rotates at a slight angle (7.25 degrees), much as our Earth does. As it wobbles, it tilts the sleeves, causing them to clash with each other and eventually disrupt the surface. This disturbance, to put it simply, works its way to the surface and erupts in sun spots and solar flares.

The last solar cycle was in 2001. Each active solar cycle has a period when the flares are strongest, usually happening near the solar equator, called the "solar maximum." This is significant because the next "solar maximum" event will coincide with December 21, 2012. But wait -- there's much more!

Solar flares are pieces of the sun which leap into space, discharging radiation and strong electrical currents that travel outward into space. They often fall back to the surface of the Sun. Sometimes, a very strong flare, called a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME), actually leaves the Sun and this deadly mass shoots out from the Sun towards the planets like a bullet. Usually they don't hit anything but occasionally they hit a planet like Earth. Most flares are small. But even a small flare can be dangerous. In 1989 a flare hit the North American continent and fried electric lines, zapped power grids in the US and Canada, and created large power backouts. Flares can also effect our moods and physical health. In theory, a large flare impacting the Earth could zap the ionosphere and irradiate the surface, killing every living organism that it touched.

Solar flares and sun spots have an average cycle of 11.120412 years (estimated from one "solar maximum" to the next). Right now, 2007, we are in a relatively quiet part of the cycle. The small discrepancy between this figure and the 11.861773 year period of Jupiter is close enough to be significant but suggests that something else is also influencing solar disturbances. Sure, it could be attributed to the various positions of the other less massive planets, but it could also be something even more significant -- the Milky Way.

The Galactic Alignment of December 21, 2012

Our solar system is part of a huge disc shaped collection of stars and planets called the Milky Way. We're located somewhere on the edge of the disc, slightly on top of the narrow disc. But very soon we'll be moving to the bottom of the disc. This change, from top to bottom, begins on December 21, 2012.

Yes, that's right. On the same day when our Sun is at it's solar maximum, something will happen that's never happened before -- the ecliptic of our solar system will intersect with the Glactic plane, called the "Galactic Equator" of the Milky Way! [see star chart]

If you imagine our solar system as a bunch of peas on a plate, with a huge meatball in the center, imagine the Milky Way as a city-size pizza with the "Guiness World Book Record Meatball" in its center!

Prior to December 2012 we have been drifting on the top of the pizza, never really able to see the bottom. The plate and pizza are not parallel. They are moving at different angles. We've been drifting down, down, down... and on December 21st, 2012, we will be exactly level with the crust -- forming an "x" at the Galactic Equator where galactic gravity is the strongest. After 2012, if we are still here, we will be passing through the bottom zone, viewing the Milky Way pizza from the South.

Yes, there's even more!

By some amazing coincidence, not only will we be intersecting with the Galactic Equator, but we will be doing this precisely aligned with the center of the Galaxy where there is maximum mass! More mass means more gravity. More gravity means more influence from those barycenters in our Sun. That means exponential increases in solar disruptions -- all coinciding on the same day! Whew!

An apology and acknowledgement

Ok. This has been a "light weight" description of what's going to happen. It has been simplified to the point where some scholars and scientists could argue about my presentation. But the main facts are true. The date, December 21, 2012, is a special day. It represents the maximum possible influences for solar flares that the universe can provide. Undoubtedly the Mayans, or the civilization that influenced them, somehow knew about these things.

Over the last decade, I have written a variety of stories about such things as underground cities and government actions that could only make sense if there were no future. I cannot help but think that maybe they, like the Mayans, know about these things. I'd specifically like to suggest that readers take another look at the underground complex at Yamantau that the Russians are building. Could this be a haven for surviving a solar blast? And what about past events? Did the Hopi go underground to survive a similar event thousands of years earlier? Should we be going underground also?

It's also important to stress that December 21, 2012 is only the "solar maximum" but that the gravitational effects of the Galaxy have already started to assert their influence on the Sun. The drift towards alignment with the galactic equator is relatively slow and, in truth, has already started. But the precise culmination of this, plus the alignment of Jupiter and Saturn all make 12/21/12 an onimous date.

Who knows, perhaps the influences of these disruptions will begin well before the solar and Galactic maximum is reached. We may not have that much time left. Magnetic Somersaults - Other possibilities on December 21, 2012:

In the first quarter of 2001, the Sun switched magnetic poles. This occurs every eleven years. Prior to this the Sun's north magnetic pole was at the north rotational pole. Now the Sun's north magnetic pole is at its south pole. Since opposite poles attract, the magnetic poles of the Earth and Sun are now at their most stable.

Just about the time of 2012 Winter Solstice, the Sun's poles will switch back. During this switch there will be a tendency for the Sun's magnetic field to pull the Earth's field with it.

If the Earth's magnetic poles switch, this would put stress on the planet aggravating earthquakes and volcanos, not to mention destruction of the electrical power distribution grid. And, if the switch happens fast enough don't ever expect your computer to work again. But if you have old tube type equipment, keep it. It should survive just fine. It will work if you can find electricity.
